THREE LITTLE PIGS

For children aged 3 to 7 years old

First performed in June 2008, the Three Little Pigs is a fun show about the three pigs who go off to live their own lives and discover the problems of building their own houses. Also includes a guest appearance from the big bad wolf himself!

The show is a joint production, with all puppets, props and sets designed and built by Martin and Miraiker.

To the left is a picture of the three pigs together. On the far left is Peter, not the brightest bulb in the box, the silly pig that attempts to build a house out of straw In the middle is Marty, the most intelligent of the three, the only one bright enough to actually use bricks to build a house! And on the far right, it's Will, the attention seeker of the pack. He's not particularly well behaved and often sways off from reality building a house out of sticks.

On the left is a picture of the wolf, attempting to blow down Marty's house. The wolf is huffing and puffing, trying to blow the house down but luckily for Marty, his house is made out of bricks not straw or sticks (he's not that silly!). Well... until the wolf discovers the ladder around the back of the house, leaning up against the chimney, just waiting to be climbed.

PERSEPHONE

For children aged 7 to 13 years old

The heart throbbing tale of the beautiful girl Persephone and her travels down to the Underwold, a place of hate, deceit and unhappiness. Hades, the god of the underworld, the dark place where the spirits live is all alone and wants accompaniment. The horrible old man drags poor old Persephone down there to live with him. The only way she is allowed out of the Underworld is by not eating a thing. But she doesn't know that and falls for Hades and eats 6 seeds from a pomegrante. Will she be able to escape and return to her mother or will she be stuck there FORVER?

The Three Little Pigs puppets were made by Martin and Miraiker in Spring 2008 and first used in June 2008

The Persephone puppets were made by Miraiker in 2005 for use by children but first used in Persephone in August 2008
